Title: EDUCATION COORD-RN Location: California-Central Coast Service Area-Santa Maria-Marian Medical Center Other Locations: null About This Position Supports all offices and all programs. Provides department level initial and ongoing orientation for all staff and contractors. Identifies learning needs of the Department (Hospice, Infusion, Home Health) and arranges, develops, and conducts subsequent in-services and training programs. Liaison to hospital education department for mandatory and cross-departmental education programs. RN Selection Criteria Three years of Home Health Hospice experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred Proficient in Infusion skills. Demonstrates aptitude for teaching Demonstrates working knowledge of regulatory requirements for home care and hospice including: Title XXII, Medicare COP,s, & JCAHO Able to articulate / teach Home Health / Hospice regulatory and coverage requirements to all staff. Demonstrates proficient written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in PowerPoint, word processing, and Windows based software applications. Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently Current California RN license. Current CPR certification. Current California Driver''s License and proof of Automobile Liability Insurance. Dignity Health is looking for nurses who are committed to providing optimal patient care.
